VAMT 3.0 unknown error 0x80131904 on update license status RRS feed

    When I try to update license status on VAMT 3.0 on a specific windows 7 Enterprise computer it ends with error: unknown error (0x80131904). No firewall between VAMT server and computer.

    on computer there is multiple 1003 event id, like these:

    The Software Protection service has completed licensing status check.
    Application Id=55c92734-d682-4d71-983e-d6ec3f16059f
    Licensing Status=
    1: e838d943-63ed-4a0b-9fb1-47152908acc9, 1, 0 [(0 [0xC004F014, 0, 0], [(?)(?)(?)(?)(?)(?)])(1 )(2 )]

    Please help.

    0x80131904  is a typical SQL error. Have you also installed SQL Express while installing Windows ADK–VAMT3.0 on this Win7 machine? If the SQL database is on another machine, you need to configure the database on the remote computer to allow remote connections from this Windows 7 machine. I suggest you ask in SQL forum for more about the error 0x80131904.

    Windows ADK–VAMT3.0 is installed on a W2008 R2 Server and it also has SQL Express, the error just presents when I try to update license info on win7 computers, it works fine with Servers and Office 2010 on XP SP3.
