Exchange/Outlook 2010 calendar change sync issues. RRS feed

  • We have an Executive Assistant in office that has access to all of our Executives' calendars in order to make changes and add appointments as necessary.

    Lately her changes have not been showing up in any of the Execs' calendars but they show on her calendar.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    We are using Office 2010 with Exchange 2010 as our mail server platform.

  • It's hard to say without knowing exactly what she's doing.  You're going to have to watch what she does and teach her the correct ways as necessary.  The first thing you might want to do is put the assistant's calendar in online mode instead of cached mode, and make sure that she doesn't use cached copies of the executives' calendars.

    Calendaring often is problematic when you have multiple fingers in the same calendar all working different kinds of devices and software at various versions and revisions.  See the below links for good advice on how to resolve these kinds of issues.  In particular, try to have just one person on one client platform making all updates to calendars.
