  • Hi,

Please make sure you are logging onto the DPM server with a user account that is is a member of both "Schema Admins" and "Enterprise Admins" security groups in AD.

Also verify that the Schema Master role is online.

You might also try you can simply running the setup program on the Schema Master domain controller. To do that, follow these steps:

    1. Login to the server that is hosting the Scema Master role as a user that is a member of the Schema Admins and Enterprise Admins security groups.

    2. Map a drive to the DPM server volume that has DPM installed on it.

    3. Locate the file named 'DPMADSchemaExtension.exe' in the following folder:

    Microsoft DPM\DPM\End User Recovery

    4. Execute the DPMADSchemaExtension.exe file and follow the simple prompts that ask you for the name of the DPM server and the domain. When asked for the protected server name, just hit OK.

    5. You should receive a message indicating that the schema update was successful.

    Thanks,

    Marc

  • Hello,

Could you provide more details on what you are doing and what problem are you having?

Are you getting errors when you follow the article or does that complete successfully, yet EUR still doesn't work?

What steps are you taking to recreate the problem?

Are you getting any errors? If so what are the errors?

    Thanks,

    Marc
