Resource Monitor RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to figure out how to set security for Windows 7 SP1 32bit, Resource Monitor (resmon.exe) to allow domain authenticated users to use it.

Has anyone tried or been able to accomplish this?

  • Hi ,

Administrator permission is required to run Resource Monitor.

To allow the domain authenticated users to use Resource Monitor, you can add the domain user to the Administrators group on each machine.

  • Ms. Cai,

Due to network security policies, adding each user to the Administrators Group on the local machine is prohibited. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Bryan
