  • E MS,

I think you no need to change the default view. Just change the list view in the page. On your SharePoint page select list view web part, and click "Modify Shared Web Part" then modify the current view. You can find option called "Edit the current view" below the dropdown "Selected View". Page with list view will display filtered items.

  • Hi E MS,

Yes, add [Me] filter in list view is a good solution.

PS:Current User Filter and SharePoint List Filter Web Part could also connect a filter to a list.

    Best regards. Emir

  • Create two view in you List,Document Library

    First View is Default View.

    Second view for Example MySubMissions.

    1. Creat the view

    2. Set the filter for example SubmittedBy = [Me].

So user could select the view and filter the document.
