    We have two exchange servers at two separate sites.  When I am configureing external client access should I configure a external domain per server or put both external domains on each server.  Only one mail domain is going to be used per site.

    How do you plan for clients to access services externally? Will you want one address or one address per site?

    You can use either. Very much depends on the bandwidth. If there is lots of bandwidth between the servers then have them both exposed to the Internet with a unique URL and advise the clients to connect to their closest server.

    However users can connect to either one.

    If one of the sites is NOT being exposed to the Internet, then don't configure any external URL.
