Programstatus does not change from pending to active. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all,

I created a GRC Program with all the required information in System Center Service Manager 2010 (Version 7.0.5826.0). After that I puplished the program - the status changed from "Draft" to "Pending".

The automatically created review activity changed from "in Progress" to "Completed" but the programstatus is still "Pending".

Thank you very much for your help.

  • Henning,

There is a setting on the Program Setting Tab under the Control Objective and Risk Publish Workflow Default Setting called "Approver Required on Publish".  If this setting is off, the program, controls, and risks status is automatically approved by the system such as "Draft => Pending=> Published".  It may take a short period for the system to complete the background process.  If the approval setting is turned on, then the identified approver will be required to approve each status change request for the program.

Henning, it would be great to connect directly with you and discuss the work you are doing.  Please contact me at jerryle@microsoft.com

    Thanks,

    Jerry
