Windows 7/8/10 Command: Delete Enclosed Files, Yet Keep the Empty Directory Tree/Folder Structure

  Dear Gurus:

  I am currently using Windows 7&10.

  Help me on Windows command! Please!

  Sometimes! In order to regain hard disk space, I back up old jobs. In order to remember the old directory tree, I tend to manually delete the enclosed files, yet keep the folder and subfolder structure.

  Gee! It is such a laboriously painstaking process. Any Windows command? Does it nice & neat in one shot?!
