    I have windows office Pro 2003 and somehow lost the Normal.dot    How do you restore the Normal.dot as now it won't do a lot of things?

    HI,

    Word automatically create Normal.dot if deleted or disappeared for any reason, go to the following folder to check whether there is Normal.dot file, if there is, then delete it because it may be corrupted.

    C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates
