WSUS server Moved From Physical to VMWARE server RRS feed

    Hi

    windows 2003 WSUS server has been moved from Physical to Virtual machine and then the update of MAY month is not happening but it is triggering old month updates and so many clients are showing "NOT YET REPORTED" please suggest.

    Hi,

    First, please make sure that the WSUS server can be accessed by the client.

    We can use the portqry to check if the port used by WSUS has been blocked.

    To download portqry, please click the link below,

    If issue persists, please post the windowsupdate.log of the WSUS client here. It may give some hints.

    HI

    Ports are open. we are finding below set of errors in the windows update log. i am not sure that it is connecting our WSUS or connecting to microsoft site.

    Hi,

    These are warnings. Please find the FATAL entry in the windowsupdate.log if there is anyone.

    Also, when you check updates on client manually, is there any error code?
