How to rename chart name in Word 2016?
I only find this link via web search but it's 2007 version and does not apply to 2016.

Hi cguan,
By "chart", do you mean the chart inserted via Insert > Chart?
If this is your case, please try directly double clicking the chart name and type the new name for the chart:

Great to hear that the issue has been resolved and thanks for sharing :)
Have you checked if the method I mentioned above can be helpful? Based on my test, we can directly rename the chart name by double clicking the name.
