    How to rename chart name in Word 2016?

    I only find this link via web search but it's 2007 version and does not apply to 2016.

    Hi cguan,

    By "chart", do you mean the chart inserted via Insert > Chart?

    If this is your case, please try directly double clicking the chart name and type the new name for the chart：

    Great to hear that the issue has been resolved and thanks for sharing :)

    Have you checked if the method I mentioned above can be helpful? Based on my test, we can directly rename the chart name by double clicking the name. If this is useful, do you mind also helping mark the helpful reply above as answer then others who stuck with the same issue can more easily find the resolution from our discussion here.
