How to get rid of frequent password requests RRS feed

    Every time that I open my Exchange account in Outlook 2010 an annoying message asks me to provide my password.

    How can I get rid of this nuisance? I am the only user of the computer, so I don't need this kind of unwantted protection.

    Hi,

    It is a combination of SSL, IIS and authentication mechanism. And different versions of outlook and windows may behave differently under different circumstances. You can refer to this thread Outlook doesn’t save passwords on hosted Exchange.

    Besides, you can also see this article ‘Password Exchange account not remembered’ Sukh gives.

    Tell us some more about your setup.

    Is the workstation joined to the AD domain?

    Are you using Outlook Anywhere?
