  • hi,

    i want to change my site master page view..

    is that possible? if it is , can you guys suggest me an article or sample etc.

  • Yes, you can. Normally I do this in SPD (sharepoint designer) as VS does not let you always see the design view.

  •  Thank you it works but i want to do  with SPD. However i can't change master page in SPD.

  • Hi Eftal,

    You should really do this with Visual Studio as it gives you a way to move from Development -> Staging -> Production by generating the wsp for you. If you're making changes in SPD then you would need to replicate those changes for each environment as it does not give you a re-deployable package which will make the changes for you.

    .....unless you are trying to make these changes on your live production server........
