Command Line for IBCM Client installation RRS feed

  • Hello...I have been trying to fix up  the command line for SCCM Agent installation for IBCM Clients. However am really confused about /mp and smsmp switches. Please let me know.

  • Not sure about your complete requirements, but here is what I used for one of the projects:

    ccmsetup.exe /usePKICert /NoCRLCheck CCMHOSTNAME=inetdpmp.xxxxxx.com DNSSUFFIX=xxxxxx.com SMSSITECODE=XXX CCMALWAYSINF=1 SMSMP=https://inetdpmp.xxxxxx.com CCMFIRSTCERT=1

  • The documentation is pretty clear (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg699356.aspx) but I have supplemental post about it also at http://blog.configmgrftw.com/ccmsetup-mp-and-smsmp/ .

    For IBCM though, you need to set CCMHOSTNAME to specify an Internet accessible/facing MP. If these are Internet only clients, then SMSMP is worthless.
