Where is the reliability monitor? RRS feed

  • Question

  • This was one if my favorite features of Vista, and it's either gone or they are going to put it in the final release. This was a VERY handy tool for diagnosing crash issues etc. Any MVP's out there know what the plan is or what the Win 7 equivalent is? I couldn't find it...
    thanks...

  • Hi jimmyfal

    They hid it!  :)

Open Control Panel / Action Center.

    Click Maintenance.

Under Check solutions for problem reports, select View System History.

    Hope this helps.

  • Thanks, found it, I do miss being able to just go to the start menu and type in REL though, hope this comes back in final release as it's a pain to navigate through the menus. That start find feature is awesome...

  • I think it makes sense to move Reliability Monitor under Maintenance. All diagnostic and reporting tools should be grouped together.
