More BootMGR Missing Problems RRS feed

  • Question

  • So I have Windows Vista from a Dell I bought a few years ago. I ended up getting the bootmgr missing issue and I have been looking for a fix. I put in my recovery disc and do the go to cd rom thing to try and reinstall windows and I go to repair computer and all that, the status quo answers but then I try and do what they say but I don't get the Windows Vista thing in the systems recovery box under operating system. There obviously isn't anything under partition size or location in that box either. I go to load drivers and i get Local Disk C: and Boot (X:) and CD Drive (D:) Vista_32_Premium but nothing really comes of it when I start clicking files and what not. Not sure if this is a good starting point for some help or not. Glad I have a spare laptop to use but I'd like my PC back!
