FAILURE ( 5616 ): 19: Verify BCDBootEx With MDT 8450 and ADK for windows 1709

  • Hello,

    I recently upgrade MDT 8443 to 8450 and ADK for 1703 to 1709. (on W2016)
    But i found an error when i try to deploy a new task sequence...(W10 1703, Lenovo uefi)
    I got this :

  • A quick hotfix is, to reset the BIOS configuration to Default and clear the security chip on the client.

    But that is not a permanent solution for it.

  • We also saw this on the Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 370.  Upgrading BIOS/uEFI seems to fix the issue.  It didn't happen until upgrading to MDT 8450.
