Basic vs. "Regular" RRS feed

  • Question

  • What's the difference between Skype for Business Basic and Skype for Business "Regular" (for lack of a better term).  It would seem that SFB now has a new moniker--SFB Basic.  That would seem to imply there is (or will be) and Skype for Business "Advanced" or something with more capability.  I've had little luck finding any clarity on this.  I chatted with a Microsoft sales rep and he didn't even know about the Skype for Business Basic (the name at least).

My company has E1 licenses and I'm trying to figure out if we're losing any capability with SFB Basic.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or have some clarity?

  • Hi Wille,

    Its basic and full version.

From the above link you could see the comparison made as F=>full and b=> Basic.

This would provide explanation on each feature available on basic or full or in both..
