How can I extend the time it takes for text to disappear when I hover the mouse over a field or icon please? RRS feed

  • Question

  • There is apparently a timer in IE 11 that causes the text to disappear after only 5 seconds when the mouse hovers over the icon. Is there a way to lengthen this time (or disable it altogether) please? I would really like to be able to make the timer in IE go away as long as the mouse is hovering. This is for a customer and making any reservations to the registry files in not an option. Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Hi Carl,

it depends on how the website you are visiting has been programmed.....

Some websites may still use the IE status bar.... View>Toolbars>Status bar.
