App-V 4.6 SP2 - error displaying Mozilla Firefox version 33 window RRS feed

    We've followed Aaron Parker's recipe for Mozilla Firefox for years [StealthPuppy] and with this latest upgrade for Version 33 I am now getting a black window once the application is presented. You can still control the window and close the application but the black screen persists.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    That is a very good article and a few of those techniques we use regularly when trying to troubleshoot applications. Unfortunately I have yet to stumble across anything that corrects this issue but have a few more steps to complete.

    • I have checked the client - version 32 still works
    • Cleared the cache
    • Deleted all content from the Softgrid directory
    • Removed all apps from the cache
    • Repaired the package
    • checked the Sftlog.txt
    • modified the OSD file

    The remaining Advanced steps will be reviewed.

    I'm going to mark this as answered after following the article you led me to. This was either a bad profile or a profile-related personal setting we modify according to the recipe. I re-packaged the application and has tested successfully.
