Exchange 2010 SP3 RU29 | Unable to change password via OWA RRS feed

  • Hello,

    Recently, we upgraded Exchange 2010 SP3 RU29 and facing a password change issue via owa.

    Rollup upgrade was made via CMD run as administrator. 

    Appreciate if someone face the same issue and got any fix

  • Hi Avinash Vishwas,
    The Blog Edward post shows specific steps of enabling the function of change passwords in OWA. How is your situation now? 
    If still unable, would you provide more information about your issue?
    1.Can your users login OWA and send/receive mails?
    2.What is the exact error message when try to change password? Any prompt?
    I suggest to recreate OWA virtual directory, for specific steps:
    1) Remove-OWAVirtualDirectory –Identity “CASName\Autodiscover (Default Web Site)”
    a. Note: Please run “IISreset” to refresh the above changes to IIS.
    2) New-OWAVirtualDirectory -Name "OWA" -WebSiteName "new website name" 
    3) Set-OWAVirtualDirectory -Identity " CASName\owa (Default Web Site)" -BasicAuthentication $true
    4) Restart the IIS service again.

    Yes, password is expired. It was working fine before RU29 upgrade.
