Need to renew an SSL certificate from GoDaddy RRS feed

  • Question

  • So I'm trying to install an SSL certificate that I received from GoDaddy. I'm trying to follow the steps to renew is on my Exchange 2016 server. I've already installed the Intermediate certificate and now when I go to log into EAC. Servers - certificates. I see my mail.domain.com which expires on 9/11/2018. When I select 'Renew'. I get this box to 'Save the certificate request to the following file'. What information do I put <g class="gr_ gr_668 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation multiReplace" data-gr-id="668" id="668">here.</g> I'm trying to use the UNC path to where my .crt file is located. Do I need to generate a <g class="gr_ gr_1069 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation multiReplace" data-gr-id="1069" id="1069">CSR.</g>  I followed this link but still can't seem to get it to work:

  • which CSR did you used to renew certificate from godaddy? Did you generate that csr manually or used exchange ecp/eac? Usually following below steps works

    - click on renew link in EAC

    - save .req or . Csr file

    - use this request file to issue certificate from issuer

    - import certificate using check ‘complete’ link

    Ref: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/architecture/client-access/complete-pending-certificate-requests

  • Hi

I normally use \\localhost\c$\Path (path being another folder)

Or you could renew the cert on godaddy and import it into IIS and then assign services in exchange?

Hope this helps. Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
