Grant-SmbShareAccess : The request is not supported. ' RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Try to grant read only access to helpdesk persons via Powershell. That way they can analyze logs but not change anything.

    Grant-SmbShareAccess -Name c$ -AccessRight Read -AccountName $GroupToGrantAccess -ScopeName *

gives me 'Grant-SmbShareAccess : The request is not supported. '

    What am I overlooking here?

    J.
