Copy file from server to local computer RRS feed

  • I am in a windows domain, and need to make a bat file that users can just click to copy a text file from e341000b1  to c:Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\security

    Can someone please help.

  • You don't need a script to do this.

    Use group policy preferences to distribute your file.

  • I have tried that but for some reason I cant make it work. When I run GP results on a test computer it says it worked. But the file is not copied.

  • Follow the documentation. If you still need help, then ask in the Group Policy forum.

    We don't use scripts any more to distribute configuration files to computers.
