    clean installation of windows10, outlook account connected I can use other apps eg. Mail

    but OneNote starts then closes, event log displays this:

    Activation of application Microsoft.Office.OneNote_8wekyb3d8bbwe!microsoft.onenoteim failed with error: Access is denied. See the Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational log for additional information.

    Hi,

    Fistly, try to use the command below in PowerShell to re-register store app for test:

    Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    If no use, it would be better to create a new account for test.
