  • Question

  • My exchange is 2007 sp3 and outlook are 2007-2010

    I've created some room mailboxes and now I'm testing.

    I've seen that all the user can add a calendar, for this rooms, in their outlook(this is correct) but all users can delete the booked room (of other users) and all user can see the attachement and the body of the appointment.

    I've cheched  with get-mailboxcalendarsettings and this is the result:

    All seems correct

    AutomateProcessing                  : AutoUpdate
    AllowConflicts                      : False
    BookingWindowInDays                 : 180
    MaximumDurationInMinutes            : 1440
    AllowRecurringMeetings              : True

    EnableResponseDetails               : True
    OrganizerInfo                       : True
    ResourceDelegates                   : {}
    RequestOutOfPolicy                  :
    AllRequestOutOfPolicy               : False
    BookInPolicy                        :
    AllBookInPolicy                     : True
    RequestInPolicy                     :
    AllRequestInPolicy                  : False

    As additional future I would  leave between 2 schedule, 15 minutes of time non schedulable, is there a property to do this?

  • Most of that is controlled by folder rights.  Log on to the mailbox with Outlook and look at the permissions on the Outlook Today (root) and Calendar folders and configure it so you expose what you want to expose.

  • Thank you for your reply, but I'm not sure I looking in the right place.

    I've opened outlook 2007 ->  calendar -> tools -> options

    then I've clicked on calendar options and free/busy options and resource scheduling

    Is this the place where to configure?

  • sorry, but I need to show to all users also who organized the meeting.

    If I choose "Free/busy time, subject, location" the organizer isn't showed.

    I don't understand why, although "AddOrganizerToSubject :" is set to "True" .
