Skype Directory Contacts - Multi-party Communications RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Is anybody able to confirm if multiparty communications are possible with Skype Directory Contacts?  The only reference I have found is that when the service was first announced by Microsoft, the release stated - SFB to Skype (one-to-one).

    Regards,

    Steve

  • Hi SteveWalls,

Did you mean is it supported group conversation between SFB and Skype? If this is your issue, it is not supported.

So far, between Skype for Business client and Skype software, it is only support peer-to-peer IM, A\V chat but not meeting also with share desktop\PPT or others.

    Thanks for your understanding.

  • Hi Alice,

You answered my question thank you!  One thing I wanted to clarify though is your comment "but not meeting also with share desktop\PPT or others."  Do you mean that desktop sharing and PPT are also NOT support?

    Thanks

    Steve
