Migrate from SCCM 2012 SP1 to 1511

Question
-
Hi,
We have SCCM 2012 SP1 hierarchy with CAS and 2 primary site servers. Now we want to upgrade the environment to 1511. How to install new server with compatible hardware configuration and perform a side-by-side migration between two sites. When we are migrating how we need to bring the same hierarchy (CAS and 2 primary ) on 1511 environment.
Regards,
Madhan

According to the prerequisites documentation, you have to be on 2012 SP2 or 2012 R2 SP1 in order to migrate data to Current Branch (1511):

Also, please refer to the rest of the documentation under "Planning for migration to System Center Configuration Manager"

Now we want to upgrade the environment to 1511.
And also use the CM Current Branch forums next time. Thanks. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?category=ConfigMgrCBTorsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de
