SCSM 2010 Web Portal Default Category RRS feed

  • On the end user web portal, the classification category defaults to the first item in the list based on alphabetical order.  The problem we have with this is that many users forget to change this and end up submitting an incident with the wrong category, causing the ticket to get routed incorrectly.  Is there a way to insert a blank field and prevent the user from moving to the next step if they do not select an item, similar to how the Title field works?
