Cannot manually download KB2917500 patch.

Question
-
I need to update several machines without access to the web. I am missing one patch, KB2917500, from several of the machines which are Windows 7 Professional x64 and Server 2008 R2 SP1 x64. From http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2917500/en-us it reads that you can download the patch from Windows Update Catalog, however, when I click the link I get a page that only has a button "Add to Basket". When I click that it does not do anything. Does anyone have any clue as to how I can get and apply this patch?Saturday, June 7, 2014 3:02 PM

I seemed to have fixed it by downloading the file Rvkroots.exe for XP and 2003. Once ran on the Win 7 and 2008 R2 machines, a rescan by MBSA showed that it was installed.
One thing to mention however that when it runs, there is not dialog box, no installation feedback, it just runs for a second and then we had to rescan to make sure it was good.

Unfortunately the link to WUCatalog in that KB article is useless.
Try this one instead: http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=KB2917500Or, you can try the rvkroots.exe (the one suggested for WinXP), I *think* (?) this works fine on Win7 anyway.
