Recover an Email. RRS feed

  • I deleted a mail from the recovery box and now I want to retrieve it. Is there any way I can get it back?

  • Unless you made the back up that Microsoft recommended when you signed up for the email address, the data is gone because, like you, the online servers are not backed up

    Based on your description, you mentioned you are using the browser Chrome with Outlook.com.

     

    I think we may try to search chrome catch if you viewed the email before:

  • If you're using Exchange mailbox, then your organization's Exchange admin can be contacted to have it recovered. But, if you're using the Outlook.com personal mailbox, then it's not possible to recover.

  • Recover Deleted Items feature is an Exchange feature which means it only works with Exchange mailbox.

    If you are using POP3, IMAP or Hotmail account, this feature doesn’t exist.
