SCOM 2012 R2 - Vm ware monitoring. RRS feed

    Hi All,

    We have the required  management pack isntalled in SCOM 2012 environment , also the Veeam Management pack is showing as healthy but when i try to see the Vm state under Vmware Virtual Machine i am not able to see any VM's there , did any one come across this situation?

    Hi,

    If you want to see things from the Windows guest side of things you can just push a scom agent on those virtual machines (and the same for unix/linux guests).

    You may try below link:

    Please check whether virtual machine discovery rule is enabled within the management pack, you can go through the management guide to get more details.

    In addition, you may check operation manager event log to check is there any related messages.
