**ERROR: Cannot access the destination inbox path after upgrading to SP1 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

After upgrading my TEST environment to SP1 I get these errors repeating in the mpfdm.log:

    1. **ERROR: Cannot access the destination inbox path \\MySiteServer.xxx.xxx\SMS_XXX\inboxes\hman.box\ForwardingMsg, Win32 Error = 5
    2. Cannot create unique file in \\MySiteServer.xxx.xxx\SMS_XXX\inboxes\bgb.box\, error 5

These repeat over and over. This is my test environment so no big deal but I am worried that this error will show itself in production. Anyone know what may be causing the issue?

  • Error 5 is the error code for Access Denied. Could you take a look at the sharing and NTFS permissions on SMS_XXX share ?

  • Both the NTFS and sharing permissions are identical to my production environment. All the users and their rights are the same.
