When you launched Microsoft Project 2010, did you connect to Project Server? You will know you are connected to Project Server by looking in the lower left corner of your Microsoft Project application window.  You should see a globe in the lower left corner, and if you float your mouse pointer over the globe, the system will display a tooltip indicating you are connected.  Let us know and we will try to help.

You change the Project Calendar in the Project Information dialog.  Did your Project Server administrator actually create the custom calendar that you want to set as the Project Calendar?  If you try to select a calendar, what error message do you see if you try to change it in the Project Information dialog?  Let us know and we will try to help.

  • Hi,

When I try to change the project calendar thru the project information dialog - it doesn't give me the PWA calendar as one of the options (I have calendar1, calendar2 etc. as the calendar options - none of them is a familiar calendar. I have only one activated calendar - the system default - which named simply "calendar". no 1 , 2 or any other number as suffix.

    Thanks,

    Hanni
