IE proxy: ISA client vs GPO = bad RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi.

I have an application that needs to use the ISA client.  The ISA client disables the proxy settings in IE (which is good) and my application works fine.  My domain admins have a GPO that re-enables the proxy.  My domain admins refuse to remove the GPO and my data security people don't have much more to offer than: "the ISA client is not supposed to do that, I guess you need to disable the proxy settings in IE".  Of course, the GPO refreshes every couple of hours, so my users are constantly complaining.  Any suggestions?
