WSUS not updating clients

  There services must be running :

  - Update service

  - Windows Internal Database (if you are not using SQL)

  - SQL (if you are not usine WID)

  - IIS must be running.

  When you said "wsus is still not working", can you be more specifique on what happen ?

  None of the clients can get updates from wsus. I think it is wsus is not getting the updates to send out. Because when I run update on the clients it says that it has all of the updates. If I do it from Windows update there are updates to install

  - Does this wsus server has already works ? or it never works ?

  - Can you check that update file have been downloading ? In the Wsus Console, select one of the updates view, right click on the header and click 'File status'

  - How computers report for updates (Installed, not installed, not applicable or unknow) ?

  - On a client computer, trigger a detection and then open the file C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log

  You can also check that you have approved the updates.

  You can also check that you have approved the updates.

  Concur! I don't see anywhere in this conversation that the O.P. has mentioned approving updates, and that would certainly account for the reported behavior.

  How your clients are knowing from WSUS? Via GPO? Did you control if
  your clients get the correct settings from your GPO?
