What will happen If we delete Normal.dotm from Templates directory RRS feed

    Description : I have to know about the file Normal.dotm. If we remove this file from

    Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dotm then what can be the impact on others word app or other word file.

    Please help us to know the file Normal.dotm and impact of deleting the file.

    I will be thankful.

    Word will simply re-create it next time you start Word. The only effect is that you'll lose whatever customisations/macros are stored in it.
