Windows Defender will not respond, no error message, no nothing. i cant turn it on RRS feed

  • If you installed third-party security software, such as Kapersky, Mcafee, Avast etc., Windows Defender will be disabled automatically.

    Go to control panel and pull up programs & features, look down the list of programs installed, delete all third-party security software, clean boot computer.
