  • nothing prepared by MSFT, but an uninstall script for forefront client is an EASY task.

    all you need to do is run a batch with the next 3 lines (all msi files needs to be under that batch dir, or the script should refer to their full path location:

    msiexec.exe /uninstall /package mp_ambits.msi /qn

    msiexec.exe /uninstall /package momagent.msi /qn

    msiexec.exe /uninstall /package fcsssa.msi /qn

    hope this helps...

    Hey Pavel,

    on the last two lines

    ' Use this mesage box to check for validity of FCS Installation Path
    MsgBox(""& sInstallCommand)

    'intFCS = objWshShell.Run(sInstallCommand, 0, TRUE)

    add a ' before the msgbox line, and remove then ' before the last line.

    this is used for debugging purposes.

    when you do this, the script should work properly.

  • Hi nagesh1972,

    What's your problem exactly? When you run the script it doesn't run on silet mode?

  • If Forefront was deployed with a Forefront management server and then installed via windows updates, is there still a way to script an uninstall?  I have searched a couple computers deployed this way and I can't find those files mentioned in the script anywhere.  Would the scripts need to be executed with the guid name?  If so, what is the name of the guid's?
