Duplicate incoming calls to response group users RRS feed

  • We have an issue where we have 2 seperate response groups in 2 seperate locations going through 2 seperate gateways. When a call comes in to RG1 Lync calls all members correctly and when a member answers the call it is answered instantly. When a call comes into RG2 all members are called correctly but when a member answers the call there is a big delay, then lync calls the same member a second time, the member then answers the second imcoming call from the same number and the call is answered and the original call is dropped by Lync giving a " call could not be connected please retry" error. this results in the caller having around a 30 second wait before getting a response from a staff member.  RG2 was setup to mirror RG1 which works perfectly. 1 thing I will say is that the SE FE is in RG1's location and RG2 only has it's own Mediation server which handles it's local gateway access. We have run Wireshark and SIP traces and it seems that the gateway is waiting for LYNC not the other way around. Any insight woudl be very helpful cheers. I will also say that outside the Response groups calls are connected in a very timely fashion to both locations.

  • No where near enough information hear for most people to help. Get some server side (mediation server) logging on S4. If necessary get RGS logging on the FE server (RGSmatchmakingservice and RGSdiagnostics)

    Here are some questions for you.

    Do you have two sites?

    How do you connect the two mediations in two locations?

    What did you mean duplicate incoming call?

    You make the call again?
