  • Question

  • Hi,

some windows 10 1607 build systems not getting updates from WSUS or SCCM , all other systems are getting updates from WSUS even Windows 10 1703 build is getting updates.

But it is showing as compliant on SCCM\WSUS console.

Can anyone know the solution for this issue.

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi,

First confirm that the clients of these batches are built using a unified template? This may result in duplicate SusClientID values.

Please try to delete the "SusClientID" and "SusClientIDValidation" registry values in the key [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate]
and then restart the Automatic Updates service.

For reference, if you use sysprep to deploy images for your computer, using the scripts mentioned in the following article can also help you reset your SusClientID: "Script to Reset WSUS for SysPrep’ed Image"

Hope the above can help you.

    Yic
