  • Hi,

There are various models of laptops. They have different ways to make the on-board speaker disabled. Most laptops have audio control buttons, please try to find.

You may try to enable/disable a speaker with the following steps. This method is applied to all standard versions Windows Vista systems.

    1. Right-click on the volume control icon on Taskbar, choose Playback Devices.

    2. Select the speaker that you would like to enable, enable it.

You may set the speaker as default playback device.

If the above method does not work, please contact the support of your laptop. Maybe you need to use some special audio control programs or function keys.

    Hope it helps.
