Problem steps recorder in Windwos XP? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Can the Problem steps recorder be used in Windows XP?
If so: Which parts are to be copied/installed?
If not: It would be a great Powertoy.

If I just copy and start the psr.exe in Windows Xp I get a message saying it's not a valid Win32 application.

  • As you noticed, the file won't run and it is not possible to run psr.exe under XP.

  • Hi ALJ Kraak,

It seems there is no standalone Problem Steps Recorder available for earlier versions of Windows systems. You can refer to this thread for more information: Standalone "Problem Steps Recorder"
