Windows 7, Redirecting the Roaming Apps Folder produces IE 8.0 Trust Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I have redirected all of the users folders using a GPO on Windows 2008 R2 server, and am using windows 7 Workstation to log on to for test perposes.

When I run IE 8.0 from the Taskbar, I get and untrusted security error referancing the redirected Apps folder.

If I redirect the Apps(roaming) folder back onto the local machine it stop producing the error.

IE starts without any other problems if it is started any other way.

I have tried to resolve the problem with admin users and non-admin users, and the workstations I am using have a fresh install of Windows 7 which has been updated using windows update.

Any suggestions how to fix the error and allow me to redirect the Apps(Roaming) folder again?
