  • Hello Andrea,

below is the path of the group policy setting for power setting in windows

    Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\System\Power Management.

if you want to do the setting only on your W7 client please run gpedit.msc and do the changes.

If you want this to be done on all system in the domain you can put this on the GP on the domain level

  • Hi Krishna,

how can i reach "computer configuration" on WS2003?

  • Hi,
Similar action could be taken to open the computer configuration as Krishna suggested.
But I assume that windows server 2003 is the DC, if that is the case, what you want is to create a GPO with the suggested policy and deploy the GPO to all clients: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc947817(v=ws.10).aspx
However, please note: windows server 2003 is no longer a supported product by Microsoft. So for better user experience, we would suggest you upgrade the operating system to latest version.
    Best regards,
    Wendy
