Change Password reminder but password already changed? RRS feed

  • I have an end user who is getting a Password Change notification balloon but she has already change her password a week ago. Do you know why it would remind her even though she has already change her password. We have it set for a 90 day period.

    PC is running Win 7 Enterprise and is joined to the domain.

    Based on your description, I want to confirm that when did the issue occur? Have you met any error messages after changing the password? A screenshot may be a good idea.

    Sounds like domain controller connection problem, first we may try to leave the domain and join it again to check the result.

    If the problem still persists, I suppose that there is something wrong with the domain password synchronization. Please check it.

    How to troubleshoot password synchronization when using an Azure AD sync appliance:

    Also, we could check on the client PC and AD with this script to see whether the expired dates are same.

    The sync issue may also between server and client, please check if there is any change on password policy.
