SfB - Logs out when PC is locked RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

We have a user that is logged out of Skype for Business when her PC is locked.

We've attempted an online repair, full repair and even a total re-install after rubbing the officescrub script provided by Microsoft Support.

    Anyone any ideas?

    Thanks
    Tom

  • Hi Tom,

Do you use laptop or computer?

When you lock the screen in the window, could other application run? you could listen to songs online ,then lock the screen , could these songs run?

If the songs stopped ,please check the power Options ,You could change power options from balanced to high performance as well.

    Best Regards,
    Leon Lu

  • Please check, if there's a GPO to either cause the machine to sleep, or power-down associated to the user's account. Also check, if you can keep moving the mouse when the desktop is locked, and user is not signed-out

  • Hi Leon,

    Thanks for the advice.

It's a laptop in question. The songs still run when the machine is locked.

    Thanks
    Tom

  • Hi Sri,

Before referring this to the web, my first response was to check GPO's to see whether they might be causing this.

There are no other users experiencing this issue despite us having 250 users.

    Thanks
    Tom

  • Hi Tom,

Please change the power plan from “Balanced” to “High performance”.

If you set issue account in another computer, does the issue persist?if not ,this issue is related to the laptop. You could perform a clean boot to remove the other software conflict.if the problem is still existed ,please re-install the OS.
