Browsing Subnets and Network Neighborhood RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have recently upgraded from a NT 4 domain to a 2003 AD structure and moved all my servers and machines.  For some strange reason I have one subnet out of 6 that I can't browse to via net neighborhood.  I used to have a DC for each subnet but I have condesned to one.  All the machines are in DNS and are getting all the DCHP information from my local DC including WINS. I can remote to, UNC path, and search AD for the machines but my network will nto show them. I have verified I have Netbios set to default and also have port 137 being forwarded in my router to the proper subnet.  All the machines are Win XP.

    Any ideas anyone?

It seems that router not broadcasting it self to LAN or some firewall blocking that to do .
