Include direct link to Review Activity in Self-Service Portal - SCSM 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All,

How can I create a link that redirect the user to view specific activity on Self-Service Portal (Review Activity) based on the Review Activity ID.

For example, if I have a review activity with an ID like RA552 and I want to create a link to view this specific Review Activity, where I should insert the ID in the URL, I have tried several ways but it didn't work in SCSM 2016 like this URL: http ://<ServerName>/MyActivities?ActivityID=RA552

  • Thanks Stoyan I found the solution, there is no need to install the patch just by using this URL format: https://[website_name]/ MyActivities/ActivityDetails?type=ReviewActivity&id=[review_activity_id]

  • Perhaps you should try out the SCSM Reviewer Portal... it comes with Source Code too so I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to update it if you had to and are able to program in C#!  It was made for SCSM 2012 R2 but I feel it is likely to work with 2016 given the database structures and supported C# SDK Binaries haven't changed as far as I know.....

  • Hey Yusuf,

exactly what I meant, maybe I should have been more clear. I've posted the article, just because the links were described there. The hotfix is pretty old and should be ignored.
