How to pin an (network) app to the taskbar/startmenu RRS feed

  • Why can't I pin an application (residing on a application server) to the taskbar or start menu? It's probably releated to security issues, but is there a way I can tell Win7 that my server can be trusted. I have a whole bunch of those applications that I would like to have easy access to (like in winXP)

    You can not directly pin the network application to the taskbar. However, there's a workaround for it. Refer to the following threads:
